PINTAR (School Adoption Programme)PINTAR is a school adoption initiative undertaken by GLC-s to assist in improving the educational performance of children, specifically those from low-income communities. This initiative focuses on:
- Developing and Implementing customized programmes at adopted schools to improve academic performance as well as character building.
- Facilitating the project’s continuity through its stabilization and handing over to parents/school administration after a three-year

Primary Literature ProgrammeIncepted in 2004 with the support of Malaysia’s Education Ministry’s Curriculum Development centre and the British Education Council, this programme saw over 1400 teachers benefitted from it. This programme included workshops on innovative and effective methods in delivering lessons in a classroom environment, apart from creative teaching materials based on the Primary Literature syllabus of the Ministry of Education.
Our initiatives focuses on the utilising of ICT to empower the next generation, providing them with the tools and opportunities to excel. This facilitates their ability to excel and achieve greater heights and ultimately, passing on the baton of creating value for tomorrow. TEB believes that education and learning is a right and strives to ensure that there are ample opportunities for all. Our focus and initiatives will help the next generation make the difference.
TEB’s Primary Literature Programme was introduced to assist primary school English teachers, helping them enhance their teaching methods to make it more fun for students.
